Vanessa contacted us before she knew when or where she was getting married. She said “Yes!” when Brady asked her… all she knew was that she wanted to marry this man, and wanted us to photograph it. I wholeheartedly approved of this, and we’ve had a blast every single time we’ve seen them since.
Mr. & Mrs. Overstreet celebrated their new start at Villagio Resort in Burleson. We’d never been to that property before, and it was seriously gorgeous. This was one of those wedding days where things just, ya know, go like they’re supposed to. It’s rare and wonderful, and we were so thrilled to be a part of it.
Check out just a handful of our favorites from Brady & Vanessa’s wedding day story…
I swear I saw Brady trying to crane his neck around people to see her before the door was all the way open… and I swear I agree entirely with his impatience. What a GORGEOUS bride!
With just 8 minutes of sunlight left in a late October evening, we followed the plan we’d set in place and had the newlyweds walk to this pretty little corner of the property. It made a lovely spot to soak in that “Holy crap, we just got married!” feeling. 🙂
Brady is an insanely gifted guitar player, and with his bandmates he did a three song set to get the reception started. It felt like an intimate concert in the middle of a super hectic day, and the way Vanessa watched her new husband play was so sweet to watch. Plus, when the set list includes Clapton and The Black Crowes, it’s just never a bad day.
Really y’all… this one was so much fun. Thank you for trusting us enough to just let us circle and see what we saw and photograph your real spirits. We hope that those long deep breaths and quiet moments and big laughs are memories you can hold onto forever.
