We photographed this sweet Sunday wedding a little over a week ago at Hidden Pines Chapel. We’d never been to this venue in Highland Village, and we were SO impressed with both the place and the staff. Jeff & Laura definitely chose wisely… it was perfect for their party. The entire day was just smooth & easy. Everyone worked together to bring life to what the bride & groom had envisioned, and at the end of the night, Jeff & Laura went home married. When you add in so many sweet moments in between, what we came home with was a collection of images just exactly like we had hoped for.
Just a couple favorites, starting with the bride getting prepped with all her best girls…
The littlest lady in the room only made an unhappy sound once, for a half second. But of course, it’s when she was in a photo. 🙂
We trekked over to Coppell Nature Park a bit earlier than the wedding party to hopefully find a perfect place for our bride & groom to see each other for the first time that day. This little trail was a wonderful find, and it was a beautiful backdrop for this sweet moment!
Laura’s relationship with her mother tugged at our heartstrings all day. We’re never guaranteed another day with the ones we love, and all we can do is make the most of every moment we have. This precious lady might not have always known where she was, or what was going on around her, but every time she looked at her little girl, a smile brightened her whole face.
They did it!
We weren’t anticipating a view of the November 12th Supermoon, nor were we really prepared to photograph it as badass as it deserved. But Mack took a couple minutes and snagged this image of Jeff & Laura that has feeeeeels, and that’s what matters most. 🙂
I tried to narrow down and just post one favorite from the cake cutting… but nope. Can’t. Too fun.
Laura & Jeff, it was an absolute honor to photograph this day for you. The way your friends and family talk about you is inspiring… you are clearly people who love hard, and your sweet spirits were a blessing to us on what was personally a very hard day. SO much love.
