To date, across the 4-5 years I’ve been getting inquiries from brides, a few favorites come to mind. Emails that just filled me up with happy while I was reading them, and told me we HAD to be at this wedding. Women who were bursting with excitement about their wedding, and about McG, and those two things together. And if I’m making a list of my very favorite inquiries, Lauren’s is WAY high up on that list.
Her email was full of squeal. She gushed about how in love she was with Aaron, and how she was so excited to be sending this email to us. She talked about the event she was planning, and their style as a couple. And although we were out of town when we got it, I responded from my iPhone IMMEDIATELY just to tell her she made my day. And next year, when we shoot their wedding, I have no doubts that it’s going to be one of our favorite events of the year. After all, Lauren & Aaron will be there. And if that’s the case, it’s just obviously going to be a good time. 🙂
We met this fantastic couple at Turner Falls, in Davis, Oklahoma for their engagement session. With the leaves changing and the perfect fall weather, the session just oozed gorgeousness. I don’t really know if gorgeousness is something that can be oozed… but whatever, I’m going with it. I know a lot of North Texas natives grew up going to Turner Falls to swim & explore, but neither Mack nor I had ever been, and now we’re kind of obsessed. Anytime someone wants to shoot up there, we’ll be all about it!
I’m kind of crazy for Lauren’s boots… aren’t they fantastic?
There’s just so much opportunity for EPIC at Turner Falls…
When Lauren came out in this gorgeous purple dress for outfit #2, Mack gave her a high five. Because she was rocking it just that much.
What a loverly place for a picnic!
Ugh. Tres romantique, right??
Loved this adventure with you, Aaron & Lauren. Can’t wait for the next one! 🙂
