We try to keep the main “Best of” contest to wedding portraits… one per couple, from the same part of the day… keeps things clean. 🙂 But there are SO many other things we shot this year, besides wedding portraits. It was just too painful not to show off all our other favorites as well!

I’m so proud
I’m so proud to be a part of this group! There is so much pretty here!! Obviously my favorites are ours, but if Willum and I weren’t in the mix, I think my favorites would have to be Jon and Anna’s session. Especially the ones with them surrounded by all the trees!
So much pretty! I think my favorites are any of the couple + the storm rolling in, the ones in the lake, and the bleacher set 🙂

My favorite is definitely the 4th picture in the post… an old, rusted-out pickup truck steals my heart every time.
OK – since we don’t have to technically chose our ONE favorite…here are my top 9 – yup, NINE. #1 – The guy holding the girl in the street; #4 – Kissing thru the truck window; #14 Head to head on the railroad tracks; #24 – Kissing on the dock – OMG, so pretty; #50 – laying on the rock overlooking the water; #53 – Standing in the water with the sun shining between them, WOW; #73 – The guy holding the girl with the storm rolling in, BEAUTIFUL! Oh, and #22 & #56 – the bleachers – the emotion in that group is goosebump material! As always, you two have done a truly amazing job! I love seeing your faves and thanks so much for sharing!!! Happy New Year!
As hard as this is, I might have to go with Jon carrying Anna out of the water (silhouette). Tough Choice!
TOUGH call, per usual. I’m torn between Jon & Anna, Madlyn & Willum, Cody & Meagan, and Angela & Garrett. These were some of my very favorite sessions of the year: a beautiful storm rolling in, a sunset by the lake, a snuggly bleacher set, and the beautiful foliage of fall. So much pretty, so much love. I love this not-having-to-choose-just-one thing!
It’s a tie between #1 and #34. LOVE!

Love the ones with the storm clouds coming in and then the one with the sun setting with the girl in the white/cream colored dress. Beautiful!!!!!
i am a fan of any of the ones with water, sky, or woods! actually i would have to say my favorite is the one of angela and garrett in front of the old grey house. the angle of the shot, and the red of her dress with the rust of the roof is too cool.
I’m so thankful this wasn’t the post for yesterday. It is practically impossible to choose my favoritest favorite. Chelsea, why are you doing this to me? 😉 I have a few favorites, like Meg. Jon & Anna, for sure. All of them! #16 is most likely my most favorite single image from this post. Wowsers!? Can I just copy Meg’s list for the rest? Seriously. I’m just gonna go with that, because they are incredible.
My absolute favorite picture this year was Angela & Garrett’s sitting on the dock (#24)! My 2nd favorite was Leslie & Garrett’s under the trees (#2)…well I loved their whole e-session actually!
WOW!!! Super amazing photography!! I loved 1, 4, 12, 14, 18, 21, 25, 27, 35, 37, 40, 48, 51, 56 (!), 60, 72, 74, and 77. Although I had 17 favorites, there really is something special about each image… Truly beautiful!
The black an white in the wooded area with the couple offset to the left (she has a headband). I LOOOVE it!!!!
I have a hard time choosing between that one and number 7, the couple in the grass with the amazing lighting!! You guys do great work!! 🙂
They are all so beautiful! But my personal fave is the fourth one through the old truck windows…so cute!

I have been thinking about this on and off all day about how I would pick just one, but I am going to follow suit with others and refuse to pick just one. I could not pick just one fave out of this if you offered me $100. Jon and Anna with the sunset is seriously stunning! Angela and Garrett the mix of the dark and moody clouds with the happiness of the couple is just the best. The pic of Madlyn and Willum in the wheat field just draws me to it, I cant explain why, but I loved that pic so much when you posted it.
OMG, all of these pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! Not only is the photography gorgeous, but your clients seriously look like models. I want all of their clothes in my closet 🙂
I’m so glad that we are able to choose more than one favorite this time! All of the above pictures are absolutely incredible, but I definitely have a top 16! (in numerical order of course) 😉 1, 4, 8, 9, 12, 24, 25, 27, 37, 41, 45, 52, 56, 65, 76, & 80. Amazing job as always McG!!!
