Editing the first wedding of a new year is always exciting. As artist, we use the “off season” to define our goals, to grow, to make decisions about the future. We spent all January & February being excited about the 2013 wedding season, and now, it’s finally here. Vanessa & Ben were a wonderful couple to work with, and we know they’re even more excited than we are to see this first wedding blog of the year. 🙂
The wedding ceremony & reception took place at the Belltower Chapel & Garden in Fort Worth, but first, we met the bride at the Renaissance Worthington in downtown Fort Worth. The hotel made a stunning backdrop for photographs of Vanessa’s Galina gown and Jimmy Choo wedding heels.
Sometimes it takes a lot of hands up a dress to get everything situated. 🙂
I’m not a super traditional gal, but LORDY I love me a cathedral length veil!
Man & Wife!
Vanessa & Ben have booked a Bride & Groom session with us to take place later this spring, but we still had time for a few beautiful portraits before the sun was all the way gone. Love the soft light in these!
It was a chilly evening, but thanks to a few well-placed heaters & happy hearts, the newlyweds enjoyed a gorgeous reception under the stars!
In this next picture, observant viewers will notice that Ben seems to have just been smooched by someone with red lipstick. 🙂
When the getaway car is a gorgeous 1958 Rolls Royce, that definitely calls for some after dark portraits!
Congratulations, Vanessa & Ben! Thank you so much for kicking off our 2013 in style, and for being so sweet & enthusiastic to work with. We can’t wait to see you again soon!
I LOVE these!!! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but #53 really stands out:) Thank you, Chelsea & Mack!
So stunning. Made me get all teary eyed all over again. Love love love them all but the after dark with the ’58 Rolls… spectacular!!!
… Just had to add, beautiful pics. (msg above mine too, just cant spell this morning)
My favorite of all from this post is the kissing photo after she tossed the bouquet! I love those candid shots!
What a GORGEOUS wedding! Can’t believe this is how y’all kicked of the season! I love her shoes (duh!), the bow detail on her dress, the gorgeous florals, and the color scheme in the Belltower garden was just TOO perfect. LOVE the photo of the bride dancing with her dad – SO emotional, and the image of the groom with the lipstick! How cute! Can’t wait to see what this couple decided to do with their B&G session – should be super fun!
Ahhh! Soooo pretty! Great job!
