Thank goodness it’s Thursday. If I hadn’t set up a blog schedule for myself, I’d just post everything at 3 a.m. when it’s ready, instead of waiting for regularly scheduled programming. But the schedule is worth it for our excited brides who pop out of bed right at 6 a.m. on “blog day!” I have a hunch Brandi is going to be one of those gals, if the excited texts are any indication. 🙂
We photographed Brandi & Jimmy’s wedding last Friday at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, TX. It was a little warmer than expected for October, but I wouldn’t trade that for all the rain we had last fall… sunshine suits us juuuust fine, thankyewverymuch.
This awesome couple opted to see each other before the ceremony so they could soak up a little time alone together. That meant that when we arrived, it was feet-to-floor hustling to finish that last bit of “getting ready” before the big reveal!
So completely sweet… her dress wasn’t anything like he expected, and she looked STUNNING in it!
Camp Lucy is so full of so many gorgeous portrait locations. We’re definitely in the market for more weddings down there… I don’t feel like we even scratched the surface!
And when we’re talking about gorgeousness, we can’t leave out this ceremony site. Holy wow.
That kiss makes it official and the bell ringing makes it a celebration… Mr. & Mrs. Calhoun!!
The bride & groom worked tirelessly on a selection of home-brewed beers to serve at their wedding, and I can tell you without a doubt that their hard work paid off. YUM.
You guys bolted your way up our list of favorites the second we met you, and it’s only up from here. Can’t wait to see you again… enjoy RELAXING!!
