When we made the decision to blog Logan & Christian’s wedding all at once, I didn’t consider how long that meant I’d be waiting to show off their ceremony & portraits. Needless to say, it’s been somewhat torturous. But now that the ceremony & reception are days past, it’s beyond time to share our favorites from both of these wonderful events.
We started working with Christian’s family in the spring of 2009. We’ve photographed their family, weddings, pregnancies, new babies, senior portraits… these people are so close to family, sometimes I forget that we actually met them through work. We’ve known Christian since she was 19 years old, and watching her find & fall in love with her forever has been such an absolute joy. We loved Logan the instant we met him… Mack & I both spent most of their wedding day swelled up with pride & happiness for someone who feels like our little sister in so many ways.
The new Mr. & Mrs. Park said their I Do’s in a ceremony early this month at the Chapel at Possum Kingdom Harbor, with just their nearest and dearest. The date was special, as it was both their 5 year dating anniversary, as well as Logan’s parents’ wedding anniversary. The legacy of lasting love surrounding these people as they promised forever was so inspiring.
Christian’s niece Rory took her job as flower girl VERY seriously, and couldn’t stop looking at the beautiful bride.
Those are the faces of people who are absolutely over the moon to officially be husband & wife!
A little less than two weeks later, at Main Street B&B in Jacksboro, LOTS of friends & family gathered to help celebrate the marriage. Food trucks, beer, dancing, and the relaxed feel of hanging out with people you love… it was a really fun evening.
We secretly put together a slideshow of Christian & Logan’s wedding day photos… just a handful, but enough that they could see what was coming. With the help of Christian’s parents (who are some of our very favorite people), we were able to show that off on a big screen for the newlyweds before the party really got hoppin’.
A paper airplane send off… words of love & encouragement & support flying through the air as they run toward the rest of their lives together.
We love y’all. You know that. We’re proud of you… you probably know that, too. But I’ll keep saying it, because we KEEP being happy that you found each other, and we know everything goes up from here.
This was a beautiful wedding, I am sure you are both very happy. Thank-you for sharing your very special time with us in Iowa.
Love ya
Aunt Wanda and Uncle Bob
Beautifully Magical! My heart is full….
