That’s right… it’s in the mid-60s in Texas, which is just simply unacceptable weather for a winter holiday week, so we ran away to the mountains!
Ok. Not really. That’d be cool. But the real reason we’re here is that we have super-amazing clients with a jones for snowy woodsy engagement pictures, and the hook up with a condo in Deer Valley, UT. Such fun, right?
It was dark before we got to the snow last night, so no pictures of that yet, but we explored in Salt Lake City for a while in the afternoon and got some wicked cool pictures of the LDS Temple. I’d seen the one in San Diego as a little girl, but goodness… this place is just incredible. We saw 5 brides walking around in an hour… I even sneaked a picture of one sweet newlywed couple. What?!? I just can’t help it. 😉
Don’t you worry, we’ll be sharing tons of pictures of this whirlwind New Year’s Eve adventure soon, as well as all our favorites from Chelsea & Carter’s engagement session taking place this afternoon. But for now, here’s just a few we snagged walking around Temple Square:
Isn’t this couple sweet? Well, the backs of them, anyway? 😉 They’d just been sealed in the Temple. I made sure to stay out of their photographer’s way, and snapped this picture walking behind them while he was checking his settings. It was SO hard not to jump in and say, “Please let me pose you!!” But I’m sure their photog did a great job. 🙂
The dome of the Tabernacle…
The Christmas lights were absolutely phenomenal!
Just breathtaking!
We hope all of you have a wonderful, happy, and safe New Year’s Weekend. Thank you for spending 2011 with us… it’s been a fantabulous year, and we’re looking forward to many more.
See you in 2012, my friends!
