Ok, so, it’s the 6th of July. But it’s pretty hard to blog Independence Day pictures ON Independence Day, you know.
The Fourth of July is Mack’s very favorite holiday, and he looks forward all year to grilling and explosives…. although we try not to mix the two. 🙂 Our kids always enjoy it as well, swimming all day and playing with sparklers. They’re firebugs just like their parents!
This macaroni salad might not look like much, but it’s one of my favorite foods in the whole wide world.
After dark every year, we walk down to the Baptist Church parking lot, so we can make lots of big booms with minimal grassfire risk.
Our friends Tiffany & Michael came out for the fun… they’re pretty adorable.
After the kids went home with their parents & grandparents, we stayed out and played with sparklers and time lapse.
