Mack and I are the kind of people who just keep swimming… metaphorically speaking. We’ve shot weddings while sick, while injured, in pain, with fevers, you name it. It’s just really hard to get us to give up. And I’d like to think that’s at least slightly impressive. But when our clients show up and rock a shoot even though they’re sick? Well, I think that’s even MORE impressive. After all, they’re the ones that have to look pretty!

So when Ryan was coughing his poor head off and Carmen was recovering from a stomach virus, I wouldn’t have blamed them for wanting to reschedule. That said, I’m glad they didn’t. The light & color we had at Rockledge Park in Grapevine earlier this week was completely stunning, and they both looked phenomenal. I’m not sure how they’re going to top it for their wedding day… but still, I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that they feel MUCH better when June rolls around. 🙂
