Mack and I play a little game during wedding receptions sometimes. We point out couples on the dance floor, and place bets on whether or not they’ll be engaged within a year. We’re not ALWAYS right, but our level of accuracy is pretty impressive (if I do say so myself).  When we saw Sierra & Alex dancing at Taylor & Kirby’s December wedding, we both guessed that engagement wasn’t far behind… and we were SO right. 🙂

We met up with this adorable couple last week in Fort Worth, and really enjoyed photographing their engagement session. Alex & Sierra are just so comfortable with each other… completely at ease, and able to enjoy one another’s company regardless of the presence of cameras. They were a joy to shoot, and we’re excited for their wedding coming up this October!

This engagement session started around the post office on Lancaster. Don’t worry, the graffiti on the doors wasn’t ours. But man, someone else’s vandalism sure came in handy! 🙂

As always lately, the wind was CRAZY during this engagement session! Luckily, Sierra really worked her supermodel hair, and the flowy skirt on her dress was absolutely gorgeous.

Isn’t that engagement ring stunning? I love a colored stone. Great job, Alex! 🙂
