Every bit of Travis & Rachel’s wedding day was intentional, and all roads led to the same goal… getting married. Rain or Shine, no matter what, this bride & groom knew their only priority was ending the night as Man & Wife. Luckily, they did more than that! They threw a gorgeous party for their family & friends, and enjoyed a gorgeous Dallas afternoon together on the first day of their new forever.

We met up with Rachel at her home on Sunday afternoon, not too far from the Arboretum. We were so happy to find the tree in her front yard starting to bloom… spring is indeed here!

This was McG’s second wedding of 2013, and our second pair of Jimmy Choos. Do I see a trend starting early? 🙂

In honor of a grandmother in failing health who was unable to travel in for the wedding, Rachel carried her rings, and a handkerchief boasting the number of years her grandparents were married. The PERFECT something’s borrowed & old. 🙂

Pretty pup Katie was a guest at Rachel & Travis’s engagement session as well, so it was absolutely necessary for her to love on her Mama one last time before the family became legitimate. 🙂

While Rachel wore her grandmother’s mink, Travis was also decked out in this vintage fur. SO dashing!

I’m a sucker for a good weepy First Sight… these two sure adore each other!

Just in the last week or so, the flowers have started blooming at the Dallas Arboretum. What a GORGEOUS backdrop for a wedding day!

Rachel set a high priority on Bride & Groom portraits, so we had lots of time to wander the gardens before sunset and capture images of the happy couple. Thank goodness for such gorgeous weather!

And then, right before the ceremony, the clouds melted away! Come back first thing tomorrow to see Travis & Rachel’s gorgeous sun-soaked ceremony and fun-filled reception. There’s so much pretty ahead! 🙂
