Emily & Rich : Engagement

So many sessions lately where we’re running from rain, or watching the weather wondering if we have to reschedule… in that regard, Emily & Rich’s session was such a relief. There was nothing but blue skies & sunshine overhead in Hico last week, and even with higher-than-expected temperatures, it was easy for us to just relax & do what we do.

A couple times a year, a client is looking for exactly what Hico has, and I always love going out there. It’s such a sleepy little town, and it always feels completely deserted, even toward quittin’ time on a weeknight. I’m sure that’s not great for the local economy, but it works juuuust fine for a couple of intrepid photographers & an engaged couple! 🙂

Enjoy a few of our favorites!

This bright red top was the PERFECT choice for Emily… it popped in the best way. 🙂

Right about now is when someone in a neighboring field started hunting, and scared us all with shotgun blasts. I won’t share THOSE images, though…

LOVE!
Thank you guys so much for spending your day driving all the way out to hang with us in the country. We hope the rest of your fall season is just as beautiful as that afternoon was! 🙂

I need a crumbling brick/stucco wall like that in my life! I love the softness of the 2nd half of this session. Pretty pretty!!

I love the pictures, and I love that they were done in Hico. When I was at Tarleton, my roommate was from Hico. There was so much fun to be had. 🙂
