I am never more nervous than when I’m photographing another photographer, but it’s also SO rewarding to deliver amazing images to someone that I know will appreciate them on a whole different level than my “regular” clients. I was beyond honored to get to shoot a maternity session for Shanna last week, who’s an astounding 37 (well, I guess by now it’s actually 38!) weeks pregnant with sweet Vivienne. This beautiful woman already has one son who’s about the cutest non-McG baby I’ve ever seen, so I have no doubt that her daughter is going to be gorgeous, too. I had so much fun on this relaxed shoot… just talking life, love, babies, & photography.

I know Shanna, her husband, and son are ALL anxiously awaiting the arrival of Miss Vivi, so I hope these photos make everyone squeal loud enough to chase that baby right on out. 🙂

Shanna cracked me up talking about how she wished her belly was bigger. I’m pretty sure every pregnant woman I’ve ever known has wished to be this adorably petite with a fully grown baby in their belly!!

This PERFECT nightgown was actually found by a friend of Shanna’s in Arizona… at Goodwill… for $5. I mean, it just doesn’t get more perfect than that.

Mama, you are SO. PRETTY. Sweet Vivienne (and Rhett, of course) are so lucky to have you. 🙂
