Happy weekend, friends! It’s a busy one for us… we’ve got Lucas & Kristen’s Fort Worth wedding tonight, Claire & Jeff’s Dallas wedding tomorrow, and our daughter’s first ballet recital on Sunday. ‘Tis the season to be busy, right??
But we can’t go into a weekend without finishing up sharing our favorite images from last weekend’s incredible winter wedding. Lauren & Aaron were such troopers in the planning of their big day… they contacted us nearly 18 months ago, and at NO point were they ever stressed or overwhelmed when we talked to them. They were always kind, calm, and beyond sweet to work with. Even when icy roads and treacherous parking lots threatened to throw a kink into the event they had planned, they smiled and said that as long as everyone was safe, they were happy. Truly, these are the kinds of people we LOVE working with. 🙂
I listed the awesome vendors we partnered with in yesterday’s blog post, but I’ll reiterate those links here. If ANY 2014 brides are looking for a dream team to pull off your upcoming wedding, you can’t go wrong with any of these people:
Design/Coordination : Kelly w/ Sweet Pea Events
Floral : Debby w/ Branching Out Event Florist
DJ & Lighting : Colby w/ Astounding Sounds
Catering : Gil’s Elegant Catering
Videography : Splendor Films
We loved working with ALL of you, and can’t wait to get the gang back together soon. 🙂
But enough chatting… let’s get to the pictures! Today’s blog post starts just minutes after Mr. & Mrs. Mattox shared their first kiss as husband and wife… they chased it with a big second kiss outside in the icy loveliness.
The ballroom at Noah’s in Irving was transformed for this event… the draping, the lighting, and the amazing florals just took my breath away!
A sweetheart table for the Nutcracker Prince & Marie… precious!
This hot chocolate bar was later accented by fresh-made mini donuts. Um, YES! Speakin’ my language, right there!
I can’t help it… this picture from outside the window is just too awesome not to blog!
Aren’t these snowflake champagne flutes just perfection?
Ok, it’s true… I’m blogging a LOT of random dance-y pictures. I just can’t help it, it was a great party!!
We’ve seen a lot of crazy things on the dance floor over the years, but face-biting the “groom’s gal”? That’s a new one. 😉
Lauren & Aaron, YOU DID IT! You got married! We know the road to get here was long & sometimes crazy, but we’re SO glad you can finally call each other husband & wife. We were honored to get to celebrate with you, and can’t wait to have a queso date again sometime soon. 🙂
What a beautiful winter wedding! I like the little details they added, such as, the bells.
GAHHH…so much pretty!!! There is so much in the details and what a perfect winter weekend for this Nutcracker greatness!
Bahahaha! These are EPIC! Y’all had to be cracking up while you were editing them 🙂
It was such a fun party, and I’m so glad we were able to celebrate with everyone who was able to come!
GAH! After seeing the engagement photo above, I put two and two together and realized that you guys are the same couple that graced my absolute FAV engagement session! MAN, I love the dress, love the wedding and LOVED the engagement session! Lauren, I want to be you. We should be friends so I can continue to live vicariously through you! Otherwise, you’re going to have to have McG take your photos again soon!
Gosh, so much pretty. I love how the ice storm just flowed perfectly with their decor, like it was planned that way! I think this might be my favorite wedding of the year 🙂
I have looked at these pictures several times and each time I find more things to enjoy and/or laugh about! The party was EPIC and a great time was had by all! I think we should all just get together and throw parties!#sosore #stillcantwalknormallysincethedanceathon!
