This was the bridal session that almost didn’t happen. Poor Kristen kept having dreadful weather pop up out of nowhere on the days we scheduled! When the third attempt finally rolled around with a high temperature of about 40 degrees, I gave her the option to push back again, but this gorgeous gal wasn’t having it. The sun was shining, the bride was STUNNING, and we rock & rolled through a chilly session to capture a few of our favorite bridal images of the year!
We shot this session on Kristen’s parents’ property out in Pottsville, the same place we shot her & Lucas’s engagement session several months back. We didn’t use any of the same locations, and just fell even MORE in love with this incredible piece of land… we could seriously shoot a dozen more sessions there before we had to start repeating ourselves!
This session is just SO dreamy. Between the beautiful light, perfect dress, black hair & red lips, it felt like “Snow White Gets Married” or something. Needless to say, I’m blogging a lot of them. 🙂 Enjoy!
That fur… oh man. The ideal accessory for a winter wedding ensemble!
Yep, we’re definitely ordering this print on metal to hang in the studio. It’s just too epic not to show off!
At the end of the session, we removed 83 bobby pins from Kristen’s hair, and shook it loose for the last location. These are probably my favorites of the whole day… sunset light, wicked trees, and that.HAIR. Swoon!
I’m just gonna throw it out there… Kristen, you need to plan to book some sort of fashion shoot with McG every year. You’re simply TOO gorgeous for me to be done photographing you!
WOW. everything about this session works. stunning!
WOW!!!! I think that says it all. I just showed them to Lucas and he is just as excited as I am. They are absolutely amazing!!!! I agree!!
