Valentine’s Day has never been a very big deal in the McG household… maybe that’s because we were both so anti-Valentine’s when we were single, that thought process just kind of carried over into our lives together. We rarely even exchange a card.
But ya know? Valentine’s Day DOES make me stop and think about romance. And when I do, I’m so grateful that I have a love by my side, EVERY day, that prioritizes carving little pockets of romance into daily life. Notes on the nightstand, $3 presents just because, kissing me on a busy sidewalk. I never have any reason to doubt that Mack adores me, and I do everything I can to make sure he feels the same way.
I love that we were able to have so much romantic time together on our recent trip to NYC, and that we have friends to travel with who like all the same gushy stuff as we do. We knew that on one of the few days Kevin & Nicole got to be with us, we wanted to make sure EVERYONE got some lovey-dovey pictures of themselves, so we took the morning to walk through snowy Central Park and have some portrait time. I’d point out a spot and set a pose, we’d shoot Kevin & Nicole there, and then SWITCH, and they’d shoot us. Ahhhh, life as a traveling photog. 🙂
These photos mean the world to me, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to share them! Go kiss someone you love!
Special thanks to Kevin & Nicole of Berg Photography for the photos of us… I mean, I’d love traveling with you guys even if you WEREN’T photographers, but being able to take gorgeous shots of us in gorgeous places really puts y’all over the top. 🙂
Stunning!! Your blue coat against the white snow is just magical!!
Love these. Kind of jealous of the trip, the pics, the adorableness… Can we just hire yall to follow us everywhere? 🙂 Love your full face laughing one and the landscape of Kevin and Nicole (05). Too much pretty
Who me? I’m not all weepy after reading this. This place is…dusty. Kendall already said it all. Love you both more than everything, jealous of the whole package, please come document my life and be my BFFs.
I can understand why you love these so much. They are gorgeous pictures! I love the snow countered with the very blue sky.
Completely. Magical.
