We’ve all seen those families… you know the ones. The ones that are just IMPOSSIBLY adorable. And if you’re a terrible person like I sometimes am, I think, “Well, surely they’re jerks or ditzy… there’s no way you can be that cute and also be smart & kind.”

Allow me to go ahead and put it out here… this is one of those families. They ARE that adorable, and also kind, and smart, and generous, and hilarious. They’re just all around wonderful people. It’s not that I think their lives are perfect are anything… I mean, none are, right? But they are a family who absolutely inspire me with the LIGHT around them, and they make us happier just by being in their presence. I don’t get to see Katy & her awesome clan as awesome as I like, but if family pictures are our excuse for getting together every year, I’ll take it. 🙂

Isn’t Nora just scrumptious?? Oh I could just eat her with a spoon. LOVED getting to know this sweet girl I’ve been keeping up with on Facebook since her birth!

She turned one just a couple days ago… and man, was she proud of that prop! 🙂

When prompted to give kisses to her Mommy, Nora opted for an open-mouth slobbery one… the best!

And finally, we wrapped up with a photo in the same doorway where I captured my favorite shot from Katy & Kyle’s maternity session last year… love bringing it full circle like that! 🙂

Thank you guys so much for coming out to celebrate that sweet girl’s first birthday with us. We love your family to pieces, and can’t wait for next year! 🙂
