One of my favorite things about Tiffany & Michael’s wedding day was the amount of time they planned to spend TOGETHER. They made sure their First Sight wouldn’t be rushed, and then after their intimate ceremony with just a handful of family members, they planned another little private escape. While guests began arriving for the couple’s adorable backyard reception, we hopped in the car and went to a nearby park for a few more portraits in the soft sunset light. I LOVE these images of the first few moments after “I Dos”!
So. Much. PRETTY!
Once back at Elm Street Studio, it was time for visiting with guests, custom cocktails, and lawn games!
The design arranged by the ever-fantastic MegB was just so quirky-perfect. All the colored glass and lanterns came together gorgeously!
Ruth Robbins cakes NEVER disappoint. Not only was this ombre icing completely gorgeous, but it was super delicious. (Yup, we eat cake.)
Narrowing down the scenes from this dance party was pure torture. These guests know how to have a serious good time… but of course, none so good as their fearless leader, the bride. ๐
THANK YOU guys for remembering your wedding was on Mack’s birthday! He felt so loved when you brought out the cake and everyone sang. ๐
We usually only photograph the first verse & chorus of any private last dance, to make sure our couples get some truly private time at the end of their big days…
… but I couldn’t help shooting one more frame through the closing door on my way out.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Overton. We love you guys, so very much, and we’re so excited to see what life has in store for you as you continue this journey together!
Oh geez. I didn’t think today’s could beat yesterday’s… But so in love!! How do I choose?! So many profile pictures the ring pictures are crazy amazing… And again, I can’t wait to wake Michael up and pretend I’m seeing them for the first time!
Good LORD, this night looked like a blast! Happy for you two!
So cute and quirky! The colors are so pretty! The last 2 dance party pictures look just like some of mine at the end of our weddingโฆ The song “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey! ๐
