What’s the best way to approach a week-long editing marathon? A little at a time. What’s the best way to blog two gorgeous weddings when I can’t narrow down my favorites? The same. 🙂
So we’re switching up the blog schedule a little to start Tiffany & Michael’s wedding posts today. We’ll share the second half of their day tomorrow, and a mega post of Nikki & Ben’s wedding on Friday, before we rest up to do it all over again. MAN, I love wedding season!
Tiffany & Michael hosted an adorable, intimate, personalized event at Elm Street Studio in Keller last Friday. They invited just close family to their ceremony, and then threw open the gates for dinner & dancing in a reception with friends. It was so completely perfect for them… it gave them the low-key atmosphere they wanted, while still getting to enjoy the atmosphere of a big celebration with everyone who loves them.
As you’ll see more in tomorrow’s reception post, coordinator/designer MegB did a fantabulous job pulling together the details of this event. With all the colors of the rainbow, throw pillows, paper lanterns, and vintage glass, it turned out to be the most gorgeous little backyard party I’ve ever seen.
Remember that paper styled shoot we did last summer, with the paper dress & flowers? Well, Tiffany loved those flowers so much, she called the same company for a custom paper wedding bouquet. I’m pretty obsessed with it… Alternative Blooms ROCKS!
First Sight Time!!
That look on a groom’s face just NEVER gets old.
A marimba player serenaded the small crowd with “You’re So Cool”, from “True Romance”, as the wedding party walked down the aisle. Cue McG waterworks… one of my all-time favorite movies!!
Awwww… Man & Wife! 🙂 So much happy!
Immediately after the ceremony we used the pretty sunset light for another set of portraits, so come back tomorrow and see those… as well as some excerpts from a pretty hilarious dance party!!
I love Tiffany’s dress – she’s stunning. Cool bouquet, and I love that the furbabies were there :-).
Well. I’m speechless. These are awesome. I can wait to wake Michael up so I can look at them all over again (but pretend I’m seeing them for the first time)! Love you guys- thank you so much!
Amazing! You guys captured the day so perfectly. Tiffany looks so good!!!!
All time favorite wedding I’ve ever helped plan/coordinate/design. I can’t imagine a scenario any more perfect than the one Tiffany & Michael chose. There’s just something incredibly special about it, and I feel happy looking at these photos over and over again!
