What’s this? A Saturday blog post??

One of the things I’m most thankful for this year is the fact that we have amazing clients like Lauren & Micah. They encouraged us to wait a little longer to post their wedding blog, knowing that we’d be missing time with our family if we focused on work instead. And I’ve got to say, the ability to spend lots of time with our kiddos the past few days has been SO wonderful! I know this blog is just one day later than I normally post them, but it made all the difference in the world when it came to enjoying our Thanksgiving as a family.

Lauren & Micah were married exactly one week ago at Ye Kendall Inn in Boerne, and this intimate, family-focused event was our last wedding of 2014! Although we had to drive through torrential storms to get down into the Hill Country, the skies cleared up just enough to keep from interrupting the day this bride & groom had planned. We were so honored to get to capture all these special moments for them, and excited now that we get to show them off a bit! 🙂

Sharing wedding cake is all well & good… but making s’mores over an open fire?? THAT sounds like a late fall wedding celebration that more people need to indulge in!

Congratulations, guys! We had such a great time with you, and we so appreciated how sweet & generous you’ve been to us over the last year. We’ve enjoyed getting to know you, and we can’t wait for the next time we have an excuse to hang out!
