We knew we liked Allison & Brett when we met them.

We knew we hardcore adored Allison & Brett when we photographed their engagement session.

And now that we’re posting their wedding, all I can say is this….

We’ve got a serious THING going on with Allison & Brett. 🙂

I might have overdone it with this blog post, but I just couldn’t help it. This wedding, held at Hidden Springs in Aubrey, was gorgeous from start to finish. The groom was handsome, the bride was beautiful, and every single person in attendance had an overwhelming case of the happies. It’s exactly the kind of event that made us want to do this for a living, and we’re SO grateful that this amazing group of friends has taken us in and loved us… not just shooting their events, but celebrating with them.

Getting the post narrowed down to just this many photos took an act of serious willpower, so I’m gonna reward myself with a cookie while y’all enjoy the pretty…

How is it possible that neither the bride or groom cried during their First Sight… but *I* did??

There may have been some tearful onlookers peering through windows, too. 😉

Aaaaaaannnnd…

There it is!! Mr. & Mrs. Dawson!!

The decor inside Hidden Springs was exactly what Allison described that she wanted months & months ago. Lots of green, laid back, perfect Sunday garden affair.

Although some stormy weather swirled overhead that morning, by the afternoon it was plenty nice enough outside for guests to enjoy a drink & a lawn game on the patio.

Ooops, yeah, definitely cried here, too. I’ve never heard “I Will Follow You Into the Dark” played as a private last dance before, and it just gave me ALL the feels!

The bride & groom had a lovely lavendar send off… and MOST everyone thought it smelled great. 😉

You two… ugh.
