Cara & Justin are planning their Texas Country wedding from their home in Denver… and as such, getting together for engagement portraits in good weather has proven a little tricky. Luckily, this past Sunday morning had a GORGEOUS sunrise, and we spent an hour exploring Cara’s family’s ranch out in the boonies before the sun got too warm. It’s so easy to photograph a couple like this… they’re game for anything, and absolutely smitten with one another. Add to that some delicious springtime light, and we had ourselves a recipe for magic.
Check out just a handful of our faves…
Swoooon. I’m so glad you guys were willing to get up BEFORE dawn to spend the sunrise with us. These pictures are totally worth all the yawns… we’ll see y’all so soon!
It’s not often that I wake up at 5AM but I did twice this week. Sunday, to meet with the amazing couple and talented photography duo that we’re lucky enough call friends; and again today, because knowing these pictures would be up at 6am in TX made me feel like a kid at Christmas! Thank you SO much Chelsea & Mack for waking up in the dark, throwing our sleep-deprived booties in the car (we weren’t the easiest trying to even remember shoes that early), finding the perfect sunrise spots, and creating these memories that we’ll cherish forever! LOVE!!!!
How darling are they? I love, love the light in these. And I extra love the last few – go Broncos!
