Guys… this is just one of those. One of those weddings where we leave thinking, “Yep. Perfect.” Because we know the Bride & Groom left feeling the exact same way. We know we got killer images, and everyone was thrilled, and the vendor team from heaven made everything run as smoothly as chocolate mousse on the Christmas dessert table.
Wait. Now I’m hungry.
Anyway, this wedding was GORGEOUS. Kenny & Stephanie are some of the most good-looking people I’ve ever seen in real life, while at the same time being real and hilarious and just so so so nice. It was an honor to work with them, as well as the staff at the OW Ranch. The coordinator HeidiBeth remains one of our favorite wedding vendors EVER, and DJ Jason Barnes Esquire kept the house rocking all night. In short, if we had to point at a wedding and say, “I hope they all go like that one did”, THIS would be the gig.
So much pretty, kids. SO MUCH. Enjoy.
Kenny asked, “Does she look amazing?” and I could barely keep from screaming, “OMG THAT DRESS YOU’RE GONNA DIE.”
Instead… I just said, “She looks gorgeous.” And waited for him to find out for himself.
The groom presented a little gift to his beloved when he first saw her… a bracelet engraved with words her Daddy used to sign a birthday card years ago. Stephanie’s dad left this earth way too soon a few years ago, and having that hand-written “I love you” so close to her on her wedding day meant the absolute world.
What did Stephanie & Kenny give us that made their day so wonderful to shoot? TIME. They gave us three different sections of times for romantic portraits, which also built in three different sections of time for them to just be alone and ENJOY one another. Everything runs so much more smoothly when the bride & groom are happy, and this couple definitely was. 🙂
Let’s just call it intestinal fortification for the long walk down the aisle…
One of my favorite photos of the day… Kenny leaning out to see his love walk down the aisle. I challenge anyone to say that a First Sight steals any emotion from this moment!!
Mr. & Mrs. Weeks!!! #weeksforkeeps
I’ve heard that blogging only ONE image from a set is the best way to have a major impact. Like, that three sunset images dulls the collection, whereas sharing just one will have that WOW factor.
Sorry. Can’t. You get lots.
The bride & groom got all set for their dance, ready to say Thank You to the groomsman who was going to play and sing the Lee Brice song “I Don’t Dance”…
… little did they know, the groomsman had the artist himself record a personal message for the newlyweds, and play the first verse & chorus himself via video. TEARS!!!
Husband & Wife… isn’t that crazy?? You are one of those couples that we list by name when we thank God for the blessings He’s placed in our life & business. You have been such an absolute inspiration to work with… but we’re glad the contract is closed so you can just come over for dinner & drinks and not talk about work. 😉 LOVE!!
OMG!!!!! These are so amazing. Y’all are the bomb! It was such a great night with such a fabulous couple… Kenny & Stephanie are the best.
Btw- thanks for your sweet shoutout for my team. They rocked the night, along with DJ Jason Esq.
