WELCOME TO THE BLOG

Leslie : Bridals

Leslie’s bridal session almost was a huge mess.

We met Leslie & her mom at the planned location for the session outside College Station on a Wednesday morning, and quickly found that the location was not what we’d been led to believe. Not only was there no one there to meet us, but the property had been treated with herbicide, killing all the grass and releasing MILLIONS of biting, stinging, evil little bugs. I could see Leslie getting closer to a melt down in front of me… and I wouldn’t have blamed her.

Luckily, Mack and I had driven the “long way” to the session that morning, enjoying the country side. We told Leslie that if she and her mom would trust us, we could take them to some really cool looking “side of the road” locations we’d passed, and what she’d end up with was a session no other College Station bride had ever had. Without any hesitation at all, the ladies said they trusted us, and we were off!

Every few miles, we jumped out of the car and took pictures wherever the light was right. It was getting on near noon, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, but we found so many places that worked so perfectly for this shoot. I know that Leslie & her mom agree that it was totally worth our little detour, and I hope you will, too.

Here are some of my favorites!

You’d never know it, but this entire time, Leslie was getting eaten alive by those little stinging no-see-ums that are rampant in Aggieland. There wasn’t a single place we stopped that they weren’t after us, and the bug spray we used seemed only to ATTRACT them. Leslie was a fighter though, and carried that Top Model face right through the pain.

This barn was a bit of a hike off the road, but so worth it. These photos from the end of our session might be my favorites of the day!

Ooooh, those shoes. Yes ma’am!

Blogstalkers, the next time I post pictures of Leslie in her wedding dress, she’ll have a handsome groom to cling to. 🙂 See you then!
