Did you have a wonderful Christmas? WE sure did! 🙂

This Christmas was a snuggly-wonderful one. Even though the kids were sick, and we only got rain (not that beautiful snow our Dallas friends were bragging about), we spent the day being constantly aware of how wonderful our lives are. Here’s a glimpse at a few shots (both iPhone and “real camera”) of our Christmas Eve/Day:

The big gift, of course, was our McG Christmas Adventure! If you follow us on Facebook, you might have seen us posting about this trip… we’ve been excited for months! Today, we’re leaving on a Road Trip with our kiddos. They found out on Christmas morning by unwrapping a HUGE framed version of this poster!

Won’t that be AWESOME?!? Oh my gosh, I’m just dying. I love a good road trip, and this trip is going to be just the family getaway our little clan needs to recharge for a busy year ahead.

We’re leaving today, so expect lots of “on the road” posts throughout the next week. We’ll be keeping up with email as best we can, but please be patient as it may take up to 48 hours to return to any messages we receive. between now and January 9th.
