Happy Friday, everyone!
Tonight, we’re shooting a wedding in Austin, & tomorrow, another wedding down in Katy. Both of this weekend’s couples are fantastic, and we’re so excited to capture their beautiful events!
But before we get there, we have to wrap up last weekend’s mini sessions. The response to all these photographs has been wonderful… it’s always so much fun to work with a lot of families in one weekend, because we get to feed off a big heaping helping of that “OMcG, I LOVE my pictures!” high all week! 🙂 We greatly appreciate those of you who’ve taken the time to share your link & comment here on the blog… it makes long days at the computer totally worth it!
Today, we’re sharing our favorite images from the second half of Sunday… the last 7 sessions in the marathon. We photographed even MORE happy babies, some family groups with “big kids”, a few loved-up couples, and even some puppies. Nothing like mini-sessions to bring the variety, right? 😉
We started right after lunch with David & Danielle, whose wedding we shot in August 2010. We photographed Danielle’s cute baby bump at our Spring 2012 minis, so we were very excited to meet Miss Malia this year! She was a very serious little lady at first, but we managed to get some lovely smiles out of her eventually.
Tara has some of the most beautiful children I’ve ever seen! They were all so good for their individual portraits, too… they love their mom very much. 🙂
Every email I ever get from Megan involves a “Woo hoo” or a “Hurrah!”… that’s my kind of girl. She & Gabe brought their adorable kiddos Ally & Silas out to play!
I know you remember Jordyn & Joey’s wedding from last fall… I mean, who could forget the groom playing the fiddle as his bride walked toward him? This couple gifted a mini session to Jordyn’s grandmother for her birthday, and captured some precious family portraits.
… and, well, some snuggle time, too. 🙂
Patsy & Steve gathered all of their grandchildren together for a portrait… it was quite the crew! They traveled from all over Texas and some of Oklahoma to do this, and I was impressed by how well-behaved they all were. Kiiiind of makes me feel like a slacker for not being able to get my own TWO kids to cooperate. 😉
I think Kendall & Al are just going to be regulars at all of our mini sessions… right Kendall? 🙂 This time we got to meet their fur-baby Rygel, who was quite the dapper little man in his bowtie!
Mandy & Blaine brought their son Easton to their mini session just one day after his big 1st birthday party!! He is just the happiest, smiliest little guy… and he gives great hugs! 🙂
And finally, Sunday evening, we wrapped up our minis with Meg & Eric. Meagan styled the gorgeous bed set that we used all weekend (which turned out GORGEOUSLY), and on top of being our most frequent McG Collaborator, she & Eric are some of our very dearest friends. It’d been a criminally long time since we photographed them being all in love… I’m glad we took the time to fix it!
Murphy is quite possibly the softest animal I’ve ever touched. She’s a wheaten terrier, and SPOILED rotten, and we all love her to pieces.
Stop being so pretty, it’s bad for my self-esteem.
LOVE!
That’s a wrap, ladies & gentlemen (and boys & girls & bumps & babies!) Thank you all, bunches & bunches, for making time in your weekend to come Celebrate LIFE with McG. We love seeing so many of you year after year, and we’re so thrilled by how beautifully each of these mini-sessions turned out. We’re looking forward to doing it all over again in the fall… so be watching for the big announcement! 🙂
Yay! LOVE the pics. My babies are beautiful! Can’t wait to see all the pics. Thank you!!!
I love these all…SO much!! And I know my Grandma will too. I can’t wait to show her these. She’s going to be so happy 🙂 We may just have to do it all over again in the fall! Thanks again McG!
Oh my goodness, Malia’s eyes are KILLING ME. How beautiful, as always!
Love, love, love!!!! Thank you again Chelsea and Mack!
I’m SO glad we decided to bring Murphy! Thank you for these pictures again – and for always capturing the best moments of or lives. We love you!
That baby Easton is TOOO CUTE! Also, Meg & Eric’s photos were simply breath-taking! How are they so gorgeous?!
Malia and Easton are such cute babies! I love the one of Easton in the forefront with parents kissing in the back. And Meg’s pictures gave me goosebumps.
Gah, I love you guys for real! Rygel’s solo shot is such the perfect capture of who he is – Goofy and slobbery! 🙂 Love the colors in the side by side as well. I adore those old buildings! The first photo of Malia is priceless, the photos of the generation of Jordyn’s women is so moving to see, and Meagan, Stop it. Too much prettiness! 🙂
I love that your mini-sessions include so many repeat clients! It speaks to how awesome you guys are!!!
Day Two – #48 (Meg B & hubby) = dreamy! What a great shot!
Meg & Eric – my favorite McG clients of all time. I’m in love with anything they’re a part of. These shots are GORGEOUS. The last three…oh my goodness!? Too hot for words. And Murphy is so lucky to have them has mom & dad. 😉
