It’s probably safe to assume that if you’re coming back for the fourth blog of our “Best Of 2013” week, that you’ve already cast your vote. But hey… maybe you’re new here? If so, WELCOME!
Feel free to keep scrolling through the next couple posts, or use THIS LINK, to get to the Best of 2013 Contest blog entry, where you can vote for your favorite wedding portrait of the last year. The winner of that contest will receive a 32×48 canvas gallery wrap from us… and there are also prizes for 2nd & 3rd place as well as random voter drawings. Basically, lots of happy & lots of winners. We’ve still got several days until voting closes, so keep ’em coming!
Today’s blog post is all about the DETAILS. The dresses, the flowers, the rings, the shoes, the venues, the table settings. Are the details what’s most important about a wedding?? No, absolutely not. The PEOPLE take that cake handily (oh, yeah, there’s also cake in this post).
But details ARE something our brides spend months and months planning, and we know that beautifully photographing those “Pretty Little Things” can be the only way our couples get to see all that hard work put together. Details are part of the day… a GORGEOUS part of the day… and we’re in love with all the unique little slices of design we got to photograph this year.
It’s a long post, but it’s full of loveliness, so settle back & enjoy!
From Jimmy Choos & Badgley Mischkas to Toms & Converse… our brides chose shoes that were just as true to their style as the gown itself.
Not a boring bouquet in the bunch… love that variety!
Our 2013 couples said their vows in some seriously gorgeous places… get an eyeful of that big blue sky!
Anyone else starting to get a little hungry?
Ring shots are one of our favorite challenges in every wedding day. Whether we decide to go with classic or unexpected, it’s always fun to come up with something new.
FUN. I just love pretty little things. 🙂
Be sure you’re still spreading the word about the contest! We’ve got a few more days, and the competition is FIERCE.
Details! All very special to the couples involved, and all the vendors as well, because it shows the attention to the small things that sometimes don’t get due credit. Well, they get credit when the McG’s are in charge!
You guys rock my socks off! Also, the picture of the little flower girl’s flowery headpiece is captivating. I adore it!!
This is my favorite post, ever. I LOVE seeing so many pretty things in one place 🙂
I thought it would be hard to choose a favorite, but then I saw what I’m pretty sure is a Ron Burgundy cufflink and that did me in.! The cufflink picture is my favorite.!
I love seeing some of the special details that I put so much thought into. I’m so glad to have them in pictures so I can look back and remember! You guys are so awesome!! 🙂
Wow, love all of the creative ring shots! The very first one of Chapel Dulcinea is stunning. Love that spot, it’s so intimate, peaceful and romantic. I’ve attended a few weddings there and always get excited when I see it on the invitation 🙂
My favorites of this post are the bouquet shots! The flowers this year were breathtaking!
