McG Best of 2013 : Engagements

Have you voted in the “Best of 2013” contest yet?? The blog post with the wedding portraits eligible for the contest went live YESTERDAY, and votes are already streaming in like crazy! Be sure to get your vote in… one (or more!) lucky voters will win a prize just for chiming in!

Today, we’re sharing our favorite engagement images from the past year. This collection was MURDEROUS to narrow down, because our clients brought the heat this year! We love it when our couples work with us to make sure their sessions are a true reflection of the relationship, and we got to push out of our comfort zone in so many ways in 2013. The longer I think about it, the more images I want to add to this post… So I’d better just hit publish before this is 200 images long. 🙂

YUM, right?? We’re excited to start knocking 2014 engagement sessions out of the park, too. 🙂

Come back tomorrow… we’re sharing our favorite 2013 BRIDAL images next!

All so great! But I do really love the look & feel of the one with her sitting on the arm of the couch with him standing next to her. I believe I remember it was in a library?? Maybe?? I don’t know, but it’s stunning!

Gah so much pretty! This isn’t because I’m totally biased, but my favorites are totally Melissa’s Thistle Hill and Shelley’s plane.

The thistle hill is just like a page from a history book. And Shelley’s dress and styling, that plane, the colors? Shut up.
