You know it’s a good wedding when you don’t want it to end… when there’s just so much happy swirling around that everyone involved wants the night to last forever.
Luckily, in a city like New Orleans, you can drag things out a little longer.
We had an amazing sunrise stroll around the French Quarter with the newly minted Mr. & Mrs. Johnson, and got to see a side of the Crescent City we’d never seen before. Turns out, sunrise over the Mississippi is downright amazing, and the low hum of the Quarter just waking up is a completely magical sound. We can’t wait to do this again someday!
I know this is just runoff from watered plants on the second story, but it looks for all the world like a torrential rainstorm, and it’s SO SEXY.
Amanda & Brad, we cannot thank you enough for bringing us on this journey with you. Thank you for your unabashed adoration for each other, your adventurous spirits, your willing hearts, and your encouragement of our art. We do our best work when we partner with couples who just set us free, and you truly did that. Congratulations on the start of your new life together… may the next 100 years be as amazing as last weekend was! 🙂
No, thank YOU!!! Thank you for your talent and artistic style! Thank you for capturing these moments I will forever cherish! Thank you for being there for us last weekend! But most of all thank you for becoming our friends vs just our photographers! I can’t wait to see y’all again!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!
Oh my word! These pictures are absolutely FANTASTIC! Wow, wow, wow! The one with the runoff of water is one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever seen!!!! Amazing work, yet again!
I don’t even know you, or the bride and groom. In fact, I really have no idea how I came across your blog or Facebook page. However, I do know that you take amazing pictures! I am totally inspired by every shot that I see of yours. You can feel the moment in every one of them. The sunrise pictures over the Mississippi are absolutely breathtaking! I fell in love with New Orleans the first time I went and this makes me want to go back, like now. Congrats to the bride and groom!
OH MY GOD, THAT SUNRISE!!! They could not have asked for better — nor a better city for this entire shoot! Marvelous!
I love the colors of NOLA and how the bride just went for it in her dress! Fun!
The pictures are so beautiful ,Congrats Amanda and Bradley Johnson.
