After Brittny’s first email to me, we were pretty much besties. She’s an oversharer, I’m an oversharer, we are both in love with creative wonderful long-suffering bearded men who just shake their heads and said, “Yep, that’s my girl”. So the first time the four of us met, it was pretty much resoundingly decided that we were a perfect team.
Brittny & Jonny were married on October 3rd in the Pharmacy Museum on the French Quarter in New Orleans. It was a cool cloudy day, and everything kind of came together perfectly. We sincerely loved every second of working on this intimate, personal wedding, in large part because the bride & groom thoroughly enjoyed LIVING IT. The stress of a wedding day (especially one planned from 10 hours away) can be overwhelming sometimes, but if you’ll just remind yourself that the day is really only about celebrating that “forever” committment to each other… well, all the little things tend to fade away.
Check out some of our very favorite moments from a beautiful day in the Crescent City…
Such a perfect little spot on a side street for the First Sight!
I love a man with unashamed emotion… Jonny totally owned the wedding day tears!
Brittny, girlfriend, you are so lovely!
The little courtyard behind the Pharmacy Museum was absolutely perfect for this twilight ceremony.
Mr. & Mrs. Davis!!
And of course, it just wouldn’t be a complete New Orleans wedding without a brass band and a second line, complete with masks!
No shame, totally swooned over this private last dance. Absolutely gorgeous!
You guys. Congratulations. Thank you so much for bringing us along on this journey. Wanna do it again, like, next month??
