Now that all the hustle and bustle has died down from our Best of 2013 canvas contest, we’ve got time to REALLY wrap up our year. Because ya know, our work for our wedding couples isn’t ALL we do. It’s MOST of what we do, but that doesn’t mean we don’t pour our heart & souls into our non-wedding work just as much.

And for that reason, for the second year now, we need to share a “Best of Everything Else” wrap up blog.

We kicked off our year of shooting in Snowy Lake Tahoe with Kevin & Nicole. Can we please go back there now??

But they weren’t the only couple we got to shoot this year completely outside a wedding event… nope, we got to photograph LOTS of couples in love, at all stages of their lives together!

Of course, a few of those were in wedding clothes…

But some of them were about that next big milestone… “Then Comes Baby!”

I’m itching for another newborn session soon… I need those baby snuggles!

At every different age, you have to approach children differently to photograph their genuine selves. We’re far from experts, but we DO have fun trying! 🙂

And this shoot… oh, this shoot. Couldn’t resist showing it off again. Girlfriends, y’all are HOT STUFF.

That’s it. 2013 is officially a wrap. We’re in the slow part of 2014, but we’re shooting our first wedding of the year this Saturday in Galveston! Be sure you tune back in to the blog on Monday morning for a little sneak peek at the gorgeousness. 🙂
