Happy Halloween, readers!
The days of the wild grown-up Halloween parties are long-past for Mack and I, but we are keeping the spirit alive in our Littles. Last year’s McG Kids Costume shoots were such much fun, we knew we had to do it up big again this year!
In keeping with his over-the-top nature, Jack decided to go for a very cinematic costume this year. We think he makes a pretty stellar Captain America, don’t you?
By the way, we did not actually put our son in harm’s way for these pictures. That’s what Photoshop is for. 🙂
Dorothy is the Cowardly Lion this year! The photoshoot lasted 8 minutes, and was difficult because… well, our daughter is a diva. But any time a camera is NOT pointed at her, she’s more than happy to put her little paws up and give a great big RAWR!
I’m sure all the hard partying took place over the weekend, but just in case any of you are purists about celebrating a holiday on the actual day… Happy Spooking! 🙂
Your kiddos are so cute!! I was excited to see these after hearing about them Friday and y’all were totally right- nothing cooler than Captain America in front of a big kaboom!!!
Cuteness in the form of a lion! Love the Captain America poster. One cool dude.
Your kids are too cute. And OF COURSE Dorothy’s camera-shy — she’s Cowardly!

Chelsea – these are great! God gave you and Mack beautiful children!
Your littles are the coolest.
I love the Captain America poster, and the explosion. You’re going to have to bust these pictures out in a few years when Jack starts dating – that’s going to be awesome 🙂 And Dot – well, she’s just adorable!

Jack is the epitome of epicocity (my phone says that’s a word!). Again. He is such a stud! And Dottie is too precious for words. I’m sure you will agree with me on both fronts. Please never stop taking these annual photos, pretty please with a pumpkin on top?
Ok – 2 things. #1 – Jack has quite possibly the coolest Halloween costumes, EVER. #2 – When did Dorothy get so big?!?! Her costume is precious, but I can’t get over how tall she is.
These are so much fun! I think my fav of Captain America is the one with the stars- so cool. And Dorothy is just too precious!!
