Wait just a dadgum minute…we spent ALL of last week celebrating the Best of 2012. We showed off weddings portraits, engagements, bridals, details, moments… all things wedding. And really, that’s valid. We’re wedding photographers, after all.
But you know what? We shoot LOTS of other stuff, too! There’s no reason why we shouldn’t celebrate EVERYTHING wonderful that happened in 2012! (Well, not everything. No “best of boudoir” 😉 ).
From maternity sessions to newborns, seniors to celebrations, proposals to brides&grooms, we were busy busy busy even when not shooting our wedding clients last year. Here are some of our favorite images from that “everything else” category!! We may as well start with the babies still in the oven… that’s about the earliest way we meet our clients! 🙂
I (Chelsea) got to photograph a birth right before Christmas. Seriously a career highlight, and I can’t wait to shoot another!
We’re so excited to photograph more newborns this year, especially since our new studio space is PERFECT for it! (I pinky swear, we’re going to do a blog post about the new space!)
As babies (both the human kind and the furry kind) get older, there’s lots of new excuses to photograph them!
We shot a whopping TWO senior sessions this year, and both of them were completely adorable!
This next series is from one of my favorite sessions of all time, and it has no category. It’s just a celebration of self!
We love seeing the same couples year after year for anniversaries & celebrations!
Bride & Groom sessions are always so much fun, and have introduced us to some fantastic couples!
We also photographed two proposals in 2012… such a fun moment to witness! We’re shooting both these couples’ 2013 weddings, so you’ll see more of them this year. 🙂
And finally, we shot some for ourselves, too. 🙂 This session in Vegas is a highlight of our careers, and I can’t wait to do something this adventurous again!
Well friends, that’s it. 2012 has really and finally been recapped. What an amazing year. We’re so ready to kick start our sessions and weddings for 2013… let’s get this party started!

What fun to look back at all of these images from the year. What an awesome year you had! I’m thrilled to have been just a teeny part of it!! I know we’re not voting but I LOVE the pink tutu and the sky and the water in that series was amazing….sigh….so much pretty.
