Whew!! Talk about a WHIRLWIND couple of days! Because we’ve got a double-header weekend coming up with weddings in both Austin & Houston, we knew we wanted to get our favorites from the McG Celebration Mini Sessions blogged THIS week. But after photographing 23 families, we were so wiped! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get this blog up in time.

Luckily, all it took was looking through the images we shot over the weekend, and I got my mojo back. We had SUCH a blast with all the families who came out to play with us… we were truly blown away by the response to these sessions. It gets us all excited to do it again in the fall! 🙂

Today, I’ll be sharing my favorite images from the nine sessions we shot on Saturday. Tomorrow & Friday, I’ll share the images that jumped out at us from the 14 sessions we photographed on Sunday. ALL the images you see were shot around the McG Studio at Bowen, a property we fall in love with even more every time we show up to work.

We started our busy weekend with BreAnn & William, who are celebrating one year of being in love. (And really, isn’t EVERY day you spend in love with someone worth celebrating? 😉 )

Rachel & Adam scheduled their celebration session to reveal that they’re having a BOY! 🙂 They’ll bring home their new little Mister in September.

Rikki was SO excited for her family session. She & Sean brought their three kiddos, Kennedy, Alexander, & Scarlett, and they had a wonderful time running around and enjoying one another’s company.

Julie & Bill are no strangers here on the blog… we’ve been able to photograph them several times now! Julie is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments post-mastectomy, and it’s so wonderful to be able to help them celebrate LIFE. We can’t wait ’til next spring, when their annual session will be all about celebrating Julie’s remission. (Pray it, BELIEVE IT!)

We photographed Scott & Stacey’s wedding in the spring of 2010, and since then, they’ve added sweet little Luke to their family! This fall, they’re expecting another little boy to round out their group… it was so wonderful to see them all again! 🙂

Lacey & Caleb were one of our Fall 2011 couples… time sure has flown! They’re excited to announce that in 5 months, they’ll be bring home a….

Girl!!! Sweet Colbie, your parents are already totally in love with you! 🙂

Michael & Michelle passed up Rangers tickets to keep their session time with us… that’s commitment. 🙂

Yep, you’re seeing right. That’s OUR kids in these next few images! My parents asked if they could book a mini session of their very own for some updated pictures of the two of them, as well as a few images with their grandchildren. It’s a never-ending blessing that we’re so close to my parents… we couldn’t raise these wonderful children without them!

Sarah & Lou have been married just over a year, and we were so glad they wanted more McG goodness in their lives. 🙂 These people are just so FUN. We never fail to have a wonderful time when we’re with them. I’m not-so-secretly hoping they have babies soon, so I can photograph them, too!
