As I said on our Facebook Page last week, we’re getting to photograph LOTS of McG alumni bellies & babies this year! I don’t often have time to do maternity & newborn work for new clients during the thick of wedding season, but no matter how busy we are, we always make room in the schedule for our former brides & their growing families. Tarah & Matt are expecting the sure-to-be-adorable Madelyn to make her debut in October, and they met us last week down at the Texas Coast for a maternity session!

Tarah is one of those pregnant women that I was so jealous of when I was carrying our own McG littles. Even my HAIR got pregnant, I felt huge! But Tarah looks like she’s smuggling a pumpkin under her dress. Really, just the cutest little thing. If Miss Madelyn looks anything like her mom (or really, either of her parents), she’s going to be a beautiful little girl!

We shot this session around Goose Island State Park, not far from the Rockport/Fulton area on the Texas Coast. It was such a neat little find… I’ve put it on my “places to go camping” list now!

You two are just the sweetest, and you’re going to be fantastic parents. We can’t wait to meet your baby girl!
