B&B’s Date Night : Girls on Film Couples Session

I am so excited… just OVER the moon stoked to be able to share this session today. Last week, Mack and I shot something new for us… couples’ boudoir. Now, I’m sure that immediately conjours flashbacks to some images you’ve seen on Awkward Family Photos, and let me assure you, it was NOTHING like that. We approached it exactly like we would a really steamy portrait session with any of our couples, except that toward the end of the session, a few of the clothes came off. πŸ™‚

It was so important to our clients that this session be super classy, nothing anyone would ever be ashamed of. And really, that was important to Mack and I, too. As a married couple, we know how important that physical chemistry can be to a relationship, and we don’t take lightly the responsibility of capturing that genuinely. We made sure that every single frame of this session was mindfully executed in order to convey intimacy in a way that was never offensive… only inspiring & relatable. Our goal was for these images to feel FAMILIAR to other couples in love, and to inspire anyone who looked at them to rekindle that “early relationship” date night magic.

We were given permission to share the full story… a Date Night in Downtown… over at the GIRLS ON FILM blog. So if you want to see the full story, with a little more skin than we show here on the wedding blog, follow that link and check out what we created! What we’re sharing here may be a little steamier than your standard engagement session, but nothing to be afraid of. πŸ™‚

Thank you, as always, to MegB for hair & makeup amazingness, and light stick holding, and lamp tweaking, and everything you do to make Girls on Film the experience we’re proud to give.

Enjoy just a little PG peek into the magic!
